Czech car manufacturer Skoda today announced on Tuesday that it will run no more than two Finnish drivers in its Skoda Motorsport. Both Kalle Rovanperä and Juno Halttusen and Juuso Nordgren, Tapio Suominen, will participate in the Rally World Series WRC2 category.
Below, Finnish young stars get the fireworks of the Skoda Fabia R5. For both 17-year-old Rovanperä and 21-year-old Nordgren, Skoda is already a familiar car for previous races.
This year, Karkkila’s Nordgren competed for three World Championships in Skoda’s wheel, and the last two in Skoda Motorsport. The young man was naturally satisfied with his contract for the next season.
– The carriages are fine, the top car and the top team. It’s great to be part of the youngest driver in the history of Skoda. This is a very good breeding ground for a young driver, as history shows, Nordgren delighted.
Rovanperä made a fresh announcement on Twitter.
– It’s a pleasure to announce that we are driving to Skoda Motorsport in the season 2018.
In addition to the Finnish clubs, the team continues with the WRC2 class masterpiece Pontus Tidemand and the Norwegian driver Ole Christian Veiby
