Rally’s nineth world champion Sebastien Loeb returns to the rally World Series for the 2018 Citroën colors.
Sebastien Loeb of France has decided to return to his roots and will be competing for 2018 in the World Series of Rally.
43-year-old Loeb, who took the title world championships in 2004-2012, will be running the Mexican, Corsican and Spanish Championships. He places Craig Breen at the Citroën Total Abu Dhabi team. Breen will have to drive the remaining ten races, while Kris Meeke will participate in all 13 rallies. Loeb’s map reader is seen in the familiar way Daniel Elena.
– Feeling that rally gets is one of the most exciting thing I’ve ever experienced, and I was excited about the possibility to be competing in the new WRC car. It’s great to be able to drive in a team that was so successful, “Loeb says.
Loeb achieved 78 World Cup winners during his career before leaving the series in 2012. During the past few years, he has been competing in the World Series of Rally Championships.
