In the last race of the Rallicross British Championship season, England’s Silverstone saw a well-known car on the track when Jesse Kallio was in the EM set this season with the Set Promotion team, the black Renault Twingo boosted Jack Thore’s Super1600 champion.
In the Rallycross British Championship, the Super1600 champion crowned Jack Thorne drove in a season with no more than three cars, the last of which was the Renault Twingo bought from the Finnish Set Promotion team. With this black car, Jesse Kallio launched this year’s EM Series with one of the winning bets and one third place.
After the last EM-race on the German Estering track, that car ended up with Thorne and, while the Brittisarjan finals on the Silverstone track had a bit of new colors in Black Renaults and new tapes were made, the well-known RX Academy tapes used by Kallio were still in the car.
Thorne was eventually crowned Super1600 champion, eight points ahead of second-placed Paul Coney.
– Thank you all for this! It has not been easy for a year and today there were problems, but fortunately the team managed to get me back on track within a short deadline, Thorne thanked her on her Facebook page after the Silverstone Finals.
